Air, Air Everywhere, but not a drop to breathe...

I hate congestion. I'm practically an obligatory nose breather. When I'm stopped up, I feel like I'm suffocating. I get so bummed when my little Frassy Germfarm is sick. Firstly, it breaks my heart that she feels cruddy. Secondly, my germophobia begins to rear its ugly head when I'm wiping snot all day. Happy New Year's to us...Frassy's temp is 100.0 with snot. Yea.

Old "tricks" forgotten?

I will never understand toddlers. Ann used to respond 100% when asked "Ann Elizabeth, how old are you?" She would throw her little left pointer finger in the air and yell "Weeeennnn!" (One). Now I can hear crickets when I ask her. No more "Bye Bye" + waving; no more lots of tricks. New tricks are the order of the day. A "HIIIII-eeeeee" to whoever we see, a hug for the dog--all like clockwork. I am terribly thankful that she is learning new and wonderful things everyday, but alas, I miss "Weeeeeennn!"

Santa Came! Santa Came!

Well, Christmas morning is here! Mommy is sitting here at work while the Frassy is at GJ and Papi's with her daddy ripping into presents! She got such nice presents at her Great MawMaw's last night, though we think she was more thrilled with telling everyone "Hi-eeeeee" and applauding herself. Of course, Mommy missed that-working, of course. I can't wait to hear about what she did this morning. Care for sick and dying babies first, hear about your kid's Christmas second! Will update later...

A brand new day....

The time has come, friends, to tell the world about the dearest creation I have ever known. She was conceived unexpectedly, anxiously awaited, and entered with a BANG. She is Sassafras, SassyFrassy, in short---The Frassy. She is Ann Elizabeth.
